The Monopole “Clos Botaveau” is surrounded by high wall and located just under the house of the village of Santenay.

 40 years old vines. The grapes are hand harvested, sorted followed by a slow pressing and a natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Ageing on lees in old French oak barrels for 12 months and then 6 months in tanks. No added winemaking producer even no sulphur during vinification. A small amount of sulphur is added before bottling yet the wines are clean and delicious. Light filtration.
